- Firstly, identify with them their top requirements (communication, compliance with regulations, cost savings, nuisance reduction, certifications...) so as to map out a soundly-based environmental strategy
- Secondly, in a very pragmatic way, choose together then implement, the actions that will lead to milestones meeting the identified needs. Costs, deadlines, and stakeholders’ motivations would be the main deciding factors for that part of the process.
A number of assets, events or activities, impact directly on the environment (forests, habitats, industrial sites, disasters, rehabilitation...). In parallel to infamous cases (oil spills, chemical pollution) demand is growing for financial evaluations of such impacts, or for analyses of the associated remediation costs.
