Graduate (1984) from HEC Business School in Paris, he has held various responsibilities in the field of international finance (capital markets, project finance), most notably in London where he worked for ten years in the City.
Back in Paris for BNP Paribas, he initiated in 2001 the Environment Practice, aiming to co-ordinate and develop, for the whole banking Group, the activities carried out in the field of Renewable Energies and Environment.
In order to work exclusively on Environment Finance, he set up FinÆnviro in 2002.
Patrick Hubert sits on the Steering Committee of HEC Alumni’s network of Environment & Sustainable Development professionals, and on the Board of DDIDF, the 1st French network of Business Angels for SD.
He contributes on a regular basis a financial chronicle in the French magazine "Valeurs Vertes", lectures on these subjects in various institutions, and has also created the Club Finance & Environment (clubfinancenviro.org) which aims to foster exchanges between those two fields of expertise, by taking into account, amongst others, the references of francophone and latin countries.
