With extensive experience of the environmental sector and its associated industries, Mr. Carnegie has an excellent working knowledge of the legislative and regulatory issues facing businesses today.
Jocelyn has specialised in the identification, analysis, evaluation and development of new environmental companies and technologies for some 8 years. He served as a company officer and Director from 1999 to 2003 for Millennium Plastics Corporation, a US public company involved with the production and licensing of patented formulations for totally biodegradable plastics. He was responsible for commercialising its product range, and still consults for Millennium today. Previously, Jocelyn was five years in trading and the development of environmental and agro-industrial projects between UK and US entities and emerging markets in Former Soviet States, and latterly with a Canadian public company with diverse environmental technology interests (organic fertilisers, fibreboard from renewable resources for the automotive industry, waste reclamation, renewable crops for industrial fibre).

Jocelyn’s background is in the management, rationalisation and diversification of rural property assets. His main preoccupations are conservation and environmental management with sustainability of rural communities through diversification and alternative land-use techniques.  He has sat on various committees and conservation working groups such as the Game Conservancy Trust, Scottish Landowners Federation, Forestry & Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG) and the NEF Association (land management group).
